We wanted to support a local business – the best ice-cream in London – by offering them a chance to work with our creative team to create the content for a small advertising campaign.
We developed an idea around the business and then created a hero film and a series of stills and cut downs for their website and social platforms. We wanted to keep it fun, young and colourful – as ice-cream should be.
The idea was based around the name of the business “Romeo and Guilietta”. This is one of the most famous stories so we wanted to really challenge ourselves and re-write the opening prologue by William Shakespeare but ice-cream themed. No mean feat!
From there we built the idea and used the theme of the famous play – the warring families and the star crossed lovers – and set the story in Hackney. The ice-cream is so good it prevents any tragedies.
Once the script was written and the shots were planned we produced the shooting days. We had limited resources but still managed to put together a full production team and cast the actors/models we wanted.
We managed all the post-production, the special fx and photo retouching all the way through to final delivery.
